call for volunteers : sf-active

Hey Everyone,

The Sf-Active team is looking for some new volunteers to help with all kind of things. Even if you have little time you're welcome, we don't demand 24/7 availability :-). We basically need people for the following things:

Improving the code
- Spotting bugs & fixing them.
- Security audit: We need to check every bit of the code for security issues. We think it's really important to have secure software.
- Adding new functionality. We have a list of things that should be done. You can find it at: http://sfactive.indymedia.org/news/2004/01/24.php

Sql-wizzards
- We really need someone who can improve our database structure and queries. someone with a deep mysql knowledge.

site-admins
- The global sf-active working group maintains sf-active sites on the shared imc servers (basically dissent, staughton, ahimsa & stray). These sites need to be maintained, some of them urgently need upgrading to recent code

Documentation.
- We need people who can take a look at the current documentation, fill the gaps & update it. Someone who can check if the parts for day-to-day users are understandable and so on ...
- Translators for this are off course wellcome too :-)
